Gary, awesome video!

To embed it, you need to get the "share" link from the youtube video and paste the whole thing in a post. Then highlight what you pasted and click the YouTube button in the post editor to add the youtube tags.

thanks Eric!

Bryan Turner flew with us in a 4-ship formation flight recently in Sulphur Springs, Texas. I was #4. He made a pretty good video showing the experience:

Anyone know something about this bird?

https://liquiddeath.com/pages/winajet

They advertise 3800#s of thrust, would it have the Williams engine?

Liquid death is sparkling water, I may have to switch from my Waterloo....

Interesting article. It’s probably the AI-25 motor, which has 3,800lbs thrust. The Honeywell has similar thrust but better fuel economy, but I don’t recall the exact number. TPE/Honeywell converted birds are expensive. The conversions are nice, but highly reliant on who installs it.

I’m going to have 2 seat cushion parachute harnesses (the full assembly) coming up for sale in about 10 days. The Czech design. 1 is current (parachute inspection), the other just became due. I replaced with Strong parachutes. Will also put on peddler talk, but would like to get $1k each.

Enticed me to buy some and enter.

I wonder if they will be at OSH?

Saw one land at Ellington Field today around 1130L.
Did I catch a glimpse of another BT'er?

As an aside, Colling's Foundation had their F-4 out of the hangar today.
First time I've seen in out and about for years now!
Glad to know it is still around.

I'd advocate that if you see one on a ramp, post the photo here. it's a small community--

This time I was in the hold short watching the pilot making a beautiful overhead to the approach and landing.

any L39 operators have issues with the shimmy damper?

looks fairly simple, just larger than a GA one. mine shows no hyd leak; but it obviously needs servicing.

No problems with ours.

But I would check with Bruce at Code 1.
